Personal:
I am a former runner who took the sport back up about 3 1/2 years ago. In the preceeding 20+ years I was a 2 pack a day smoker and the only excercise I recieved was summer softball. Needless to say; it was time for a change.
lsd with Dave, Pat and Larry. My right hip was a ittle tender to start but loosened up nicely and didn't have a problem with it after that. It felt really good all things considered.
2 miles after work today until I hit a patch of black ice and fell on my butt. Not a good idea to run at night with lots of black ice. Turned around and ran home. I think I'll be O.K. :)
I went out for 9 and ran into Marylee with a mile to go. Turned around and ran with her for a little bit to catch up. She'll be running Boston with me this year so it was nice to find out how she's doing. Ended up adding a couple of extra miles to my run. Felt good though.
