Personal:

I am a former runner who took the sport back up about 3 1/2 years ago. In the preceeding 20+ years I was a 2 pack a day smoker and the only excercise I recieved was summer softball. Needless to say; it was time for a change.

Three straight days off after having a horrible run on Wednesday. That was the same amount of time I took off after Boston and I obviously needed the rest.  Today's run started off slow but picked up as we went along.  It was a little breezy out there but still spring like.  10k training to start in a week, health permitting.

nice run. sometimes it's good to take a few days off and "reset".

10k training, eh? fun distance.

I'm still trying to recover from Boston and I can't seem to eat enough to make it happen! Not a bad problem to have as I love to eat. 10K training is a lot of fun. Lot's of fast running!

I hope that you start feeling better and can get out and do some running soon. It's nice to see you're being smart with the cross training in the meantime.
