Personal:
I am a former runner who took the sport back up about 3 1/2 years ago. In the preceeding 20+ years I was a 2 pack a day smoker and the only excercise I recieved was summer softball. Needless to say; it was time for a change.
2 mile warm up 5 mile tempo at 7:20 pace 2 mile cool down
I felt really good today and the tempo run went pretty effortlessly. A week and a half to my 20 miler. Goal is to run 7:15's as long as I can. If it works out time should be 2:15.
Ankle was bugging me a little before the run but worse afterwards. So much for being smart. Other than that the run felt good. Lots of icing this week. We'll see how it responds before committing to Saturdays race.
