Personal:

I am a former runner who took the sport back up about 3 1/2 years ago. In the preceeding 20+ years I was a 2 pack a day smoker and the only excercise I recieved was summer softball. Needless to say; it was time for a change.

Tempo run today.  7 miles in 49:30;  7:05 pace.  My first mile was at 8 minutes so the rest were under 7.  Felt really good. The idea of the workout was to push myself but not feel like I was struggling at all and that's what I did.

Thanks Eric. Yeah; I'm realy happy with it. It makes me think that I have a shot at going under 1:30 for the half this year.
