Personal:

I am a former runner who took the sport back up about 3 1/2 years ago. In the preceeding 20+ years I was a 2 pack a day smoker and the only excercise I recieved was summer softball. Needless to say; it was time for a change.

I didn't plan on running today but with temps close to 50,  I couldn't resist. Ended up doing 4.2 with Patrick at lunch time.  Felt really  good.   I hope tommorrow turns out as nice as today with the weather. It makes running so much more enjoyable. :)

I know....it always seems like the last two miles of any long run I do is tough....must be a physiological thing!

In answer to your question, I am training to run this spring's marathon in Ottawa, then the Detroit marathon in October....how about you?

I'm planning on running the Vermont City Marathon at the end of May. If all goes well; my next marathon will be Boston; next spring. I'm sure you're thinking along similar lines. :)
