Just finished reading "Always a Runner" for the second time. I highly recomend it to people who run. It really brought me back to the old high school track days. It also got me motivated to get out on the track and do a workout. 400's were not that intense but with only a 200 cool down they got harder and harder as I went along. I'm sort of caught between what to do for training right now. I want to do a ton of miles but also feel the need to throw in some speed work to keep my mind fresh. I think I'll work on building up the miles and throw a workout like today in every 2 weeks or so just to stay sharp and feel the burn. Boston is still a long way out but I'm feeling excited already. |
